The Amberdwell Index is a structured 150-point hospitality evaluation framework designed to assess quality across the complete guest experience. Rather than relying on a single rating, classification or source, the Index brings together multiple dimensions of hospitality performance to form a more complete and consistent assessment.
Properties achieving 130 points or above meet the Amberdwell qualification standard and become eligible for inclusion in the Amberdwell Registry.

THE EVALUATION PROCESS
A structured, multi-stage evaluation designed to assess hospitality performance with consistency, objectivity and depth.
Evaluations may be initiated independently by Amberdwell or requested directly by a property. The same methodology and qualification standard apply in either case.
Payment for an evaluation covers the professional evaluation service and does not influence the score, qualification outcome or eligibility for Hotels We Trust.

Analysis of available property, operational and guest experience information to identify patterns, consistency and relevant performance indicators across the evaluation period.
02. Property Evaluation
A structured assessment through the 150-point Amberdwell Index across six core dimensions of hospitality performance.
03. Final Assessment
A consolidated professional review of the evaluation findings resulting in the final Amberdwell Index score and qualification decision.
The 150-Point Standard
The Amberdwell Index is a structured 150-point framework designed to evaluate hospitality quality with consistency, precision and comparability.
Each property is assessed across six defined dimensions, with the final score reflecting performance across the complete evaluation framework rather than any single rating or characteristic.
130 / 150
is the minimum qualification threshold.
Properties meeting or exceeding this standard qualify through the Amberdwell Index and may be entered into the Amberdwell Registry.

Hotels We Trust connects independently selected hospitality properties directly with travellers.
For hotels, membership is designed to increase direct-booking visibility and reduce reliance on commission-based distribution, with no commission charged by Hotels We Trust on individual reservations.
For travellers, the platform is designed to make direct booking more rewarding through advantageous direct rates, conditions and property-specific benefits offered by participating hotels.
Every property considered for Hotels We Trust must first qualify through the Amberdwell Index.
